Install GlobalSearch Server

The GlobalSearch document management software runs on the Microsoft^® .NET platform. It is fully supported in both virtual or physical environments and runs on Windows Professional and Server Operating systems. GlobalSearch uses Microsoft SQL Server^® for its database backend and IIS (Internet Information Services) to communicate to its clients. SQL Server Express must be installed prior to installing GlobalSearch 5.0.  Versions prior to 5.0 include a SQL Express installation that can install as part of the GlobalSearch installation.
