Inbox Management
Like the “In” box for paper on an end user’s desk, Inboxes in the GlobalSearch desktop client provide a temporary and secure repository for capturing and viewing documents prior to being indexed into the database. Web users can capture to Inboxes by leveraging a GlobalCapture Workflow that targets one for future archiving.
While they are accessible in the GlobalSearch web client, as a member of the SSAdmin group or a database administrator, you can configure Inboxes for your desktop client users. For details on setting Inbox security, please refer to the Manage Inbox Security page.
