You can configure how the columns of Index Field values display for the results of Searches in an Archive using the Grid Menu.


  1. To select column display options, click the Grid Menu () icon in the upper-right corner of the pane.
    Click the Columns (three thick bars) icon to open the Columns menu and

  2. In the Column Settings menu that appears, choose from the following:

    1. Column Visibility – Show or hide individual Index Field columns in the Grid View by clicking using the Visibility toggle switch. (The default is to display columns.) The Visibility () , which is on by default, or Hide (add icon). Show or hide all columns in the Grid View by clicking Show All Columns (Image Removed), which is on by default, or Hide All Columns (Image Removed)icon indicates that the column is visible and the Hide (Image Added) icon indicates that it is hidden. Click the icon for individual Index Fields in the list on the left or click on the Show All Columns or Hide All Columns icon on the right.

    2. Column Pinning – Pin a column to the right-hand or left-hand side of the Document List so that the column is always visible when scrolling across rows . Off by default, click the Pin (thumbtack) icon to pin a column and the Unpin All Columns (Image Removed) to clear pinning from the Document List.
      Column Width – Resize using the Pin switch. (This is off by default.) This is a three-way switch: the Pin Right (>) icon indicates that a column is pinned to the right side of the Document List, the Pin Left (<) icon indicates that a column is pinned to the left side, and the Unpin (Image Added) icon indicates that pinning is cleared. Click the icon for individual Index Fields in the list on the left or click on the Unpin All Columnicon on the right to clear pinning from all of the Index Field columns.

    3. Column Width – Click the Fit to Column Width (Image Added) icon to resize all column widths based on the data in the cells using the Fit to Column Width (Image Removed), Restore Columns ( 3 thick vertical stripes) icons. Click the Reset Layout (Image Added) icon to restore column widths.

  3. Click the Close (X) icon to close the Grid menuMenu.
