Password

A Password Component provides a masked text input, commonly used for password or other sensitive text entry.  Use this field any time you might want to mask the text displayed to the user.

It should not be assumed that the text being masked is inaccessible to the user.  The purpose of this control is to prevent someone other than the user who sees the screen from seeing the entered text.
