GlobalForms and GlobalCapture 3.0

Integration between forms and capture should remain unchanged in this release. GlobalCapture 3.0 does roll up a number of release updates from previous versions, but no functional changes are implemented beyond that.

For Square 9 Partners and Service Delivery organizations, it’s important to remember that GlobalCapture 3.0 forces database security with MongoDB by default. As long as GlobalCapture and GlobalForms will exist on the same host:

  1. Ensure you install GlobalCapture BEFORE installing GlobalForms. This will provision a secure version of MongoDB by default.

  2. Ensure you install GlobalForms on the same server.

When installing GlobalForms, the installation package will pick up and automatically infer MongoDB credentials from the GlobalCapture configuration.
