Registering A Xerox Device

Follow these steps to configure a Xerox device:

  1. Find and run the Square 9 Xerox Connector Registration.exe file located in C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Square9ScanConnector\Registration\Xerox by default.


  2. Enter your device information:

    1. Enter your EIP-enabled MFP address in the DNS or IP box.
    2. Enter the username and password in the Username and Password boxes. The default username is admin and the password is 1111.
    3. Test the connection and fetch current data from your device by clicking Connect. Upon successful connection, the Register GlobalCapture button will no longer be greyed out.

  3. In the Server Details group, enter the Scan Connector URL.

    1. In the XeroxConnector URL box, enter enter the following information, replacing {serverip} with the IP address of the server on which you deployed the website: http://{serverip}/Square9ScanConnector/

  4. Click Register GlobalCapture. Upon successful configuration, the Registrations list will be updated. If an error occurs, a message will be displayed to indicate the problem.
