Registering a Sharp Device

Follow these steps to configure a Sharp device:

  1. To configure device access, navigate to the Sharp OSA settings menu on the MFP, select Standard Application Registration and add a new Standard Application.

  2. In the Application Name text box, enter "GlobalCapture".

  3. In the Address for Application UI text box, enter the following information, replacing {serverip} with the IP address of the server on which you deployed the connector application: http://{serverip}/Square9ScanConnector/

  4. In the Browser drop-down menu, select "HTML Browser n2.0".

  5. Enable Extended Platform.

  6. Click Submit to save changes and the GlobalCapture button will now appear on the device.
