Set Process Field Node

GlobalAction Process Fields are variables used for control in a process. Process Fields need to be defined in the Process Fields Pane before they can be assigned to Process Field Nodes. To simplify the process between capturing and indexing your documents, you can map GlobalCapture Process Fields to GlobalSearch Index Fields simply by giving them the same name.

1. Drag a Set Process Field Node from the Nodes Pane to the Design Canvas.
   1. The Set Process Field Node Settings dialog box will appear.
2. Enter a unique name for the Node in the Title text box.
3. Enter a description in the Description text box.
4. In the Process Field drop-down list of all Fields entered into the Process Fields Pane, select a Process Field.
5. Enter a value in the Value text box which matches the Field’s data type.
   1. To access S9 Notations for field variables, type in a single brace, then select from the drop-down list.
      1. An error message will appear if the value type does not match the type specified for that Index Field.
6. Click Save.
