GlobalSearch & GlobalCapture Date/Time & Currency Formatting

GlobalSearch & GlobalCapture allow you to display dates, times, and currencies in a customized or localized format.  This will allow you to change how the data is displayed in the index fields without modifying the actual data that is stored in the database.  You can set this up by configuring the data mask in the “format” field in the field catalog in the LAN and Web Client. Values are still stored with a Month, Day and Year. When you perform a date search you still need to enter a combination format of month, day, year for the value to display. You can't search on 2020 alone unless you do that in a character field.

GlobalSearch uses the Windows date/time & currency formatting placeholders that are built into Windows.
