Log4j / Log4Shell

On December 9th, 2021 a vulnerability related to an Apache Java library, Log4j, was announced. At Square 9, we take all security threats very seriously and review our source code, toolkits, and references when such events occur.

We are happy to report that the Log4j threat does not in any way impact Square 9 products, and no Square 9 code is susceptible to this very serious vulnerability. The threat specifically targets Java source code and frameworks, and as .Net based application, Square 9 remains unexposed.

Customers are encouraged to speak to all of their technology vendors and ensure all aspects of their environment remain safe.
