Image XChange Enabled Searching

The Image XChange optional module for GlobalSearch is a universal, rapidly deployed integration engine that allows users to search and retrieve documents without leaving their line-of-business application. With the press of a hotkey, GlobalSearch extracts the data from the screen and runs a user-defined search to retrieve and display matching documents that the users have security to.

When using Image XChange, it is a good idea to enable the Searches that are most likely to be used with the extension. They will show up automatically in the list of available Searches in the Image XChange Settings for end users, ready for them to select.

1. To make a Search accessible to Image XChange, create or edit a Search for the Archive, click Advanced, and in the Options group, enable Image XChange Search Enabled.
   
   
2. Click Save.
