Version 2.2.0
GlobalCapture 2.2.0 is an update focused on customer driven enhancement requests and performance improvements. Numerous updates to GlobalCapture improve usability and performance, making this release the go to for all new product installations, and a must have update for all existing customers. Any customer with an current GlobalCapture support agreement is entitled to upgrade to 2.2.0. As of February 10, 2020 version 2.2.0 is the default version for all new GlobalCapture deployments. Customers wishing to upgrade can rest easy knowing that Square 9's support and service delivery teams have been installing and upgrading customers to version 2.2.0 for several months and the feedback has been astonishing. Import Node Updates - Documents are only separated into individual pages when the workflow step requires it.
Term / Timed Licensing - GlobalCapture now supports terms licensing, allowing ever greater purchasing flexibility for customers looking to realize their digital transformation strategy.
GlobalSearch Licensing - As of the 2.2.0 release, GlobalCapture does not consume a GlobalSearch license when accessing fields or releasing documents. Customers can now freely index documents into GlobalSearch unrestricted.
Release Node - Numerous updates to the release node are now default options for new installations. Customers upgrading should review options for Release Performance and Field Caching.
Set Process Field Updates - Significant changes to the node now allow for setting multiple fields in a single step, in addition to pattern and value replacement options.
Template Validation - A new feature that improves the user experience for users and admins alike when dealing with multi-use extraction rules.
