Searching From A Device

If you are using GlobalSearch as the document repository, search capability provides a simple and lightweight way to quickly find, preview, and print documents from the panel of your device.  Note that printing is limited to formats supported by the GlobalSearch installation.

1. Start by clicking the Search option from the applications start page.
   
   
   
   
2. Select a GlobalSearch database from the list of databases you have been granted permissions to.
   
   
   
   
3. With a database selected, you can traverse the Archive tree in the same way.
   
   
4. To select a Search, click the corresponding Search (  ) icon and select one from the pop-up menu.
   
   
   
   
5. In the search prompt, enter any search terms to find the document(s) and click Search.
   
   
   
   
6. Document results will be displayed.
   
   
   
   
7. Documents may be previewed, printed, or results may be further filtered using the available options.
