Members of the SSAdmin group can upgrade GlobalSearch with optional modules or can upgrade demonstration versions to current-licensed versions of GlobalSearch using the Customer Serial Number sent from Square 9 Fulfillment.
For more details on registering your Square 9 software, please contact info@square-9.com or call 203-789-0889. Please have your Customer Serial Number and Unique Identifier Number available. Continuing without Registration will allow only limited functionality in the use of this product.
- To configure registration settings, in the Administration menu, select Administration.
- In the vertical Administration menu, select System.
- Click the Expand (down arrow) icon on the Registration bar.
- To register online, enter the required registration serial number in the Serial Number text box.
- Alternately, if you did not have an internet connection to perform the web registration or if requested by Support, click Manual Registration and enter the number provided by Square 9.
- To see a list of the Square 9 features enabled by your license, click Features. To hide the list, click the Close Features (X) icon.
- Click View License Agreement to go to the End User License Agreement (EULA) page on the square-9.com website to review the license agreement.
- Click Activate.
Plan Allocation of Available Licenses Before Configuring.
Before allocating licenses, first make a list of all your available license seats and of any licenses for optional features, plan the best way to make use of them, and then configure your settings. Some options may not be available for your installation and the number of concurrent seats you have may not be enough during peak hours. Advanced planning will ensure a smoother implementation.
