GlobalSearch documents are stored in databases. If you have logged into GlobalSearch into a GlobalSearch installation with a multi-database support license, you will be prompted to select a database when you log in. If you have only a single database or have permissions to only one of several databases, regardless of license, you will be automatically logged into that database.

When the Select Your Database interface that appears, select a database from the list of databases you have permissions to access.
Once you have logged in, you can also select a database from the GlobalSearch toolbar.
